Weart Apparel was founded in 2018 with a focus on connecting emerging artists with a wider audience through apparel and other physical products. The idea behind the project is simple: art does not have to stay inside galleries, studios, or exhibitions. It can also become part of everyday life.

By placing original artwork on clothing, posters, bags, and other products, Weart creates another space where creative work can be seen and discovered. The product becomes more than a functional object because it also carries the identity, style, and creative expression of the artist behind it.

Our Story

Weart was developed from an interest in helping young and emerging artists gain more visibility. During its early years, the project worked with creators from different artistic backgrounds, including illustration, photography, printmaking, and digital art.

Instead of focusing on one visual style, Weart introduced different artists and gave their work a physical format that could reach new people. This approach allowed customers to experience art outside traditional settings while also learning more about the person who created the design.

As the project developed, Weart expanded beyond T-shirts into other formats such as canvas bags and posters. The concept also grew from the original idea of “Wear Art” into the broader idea of “We Art,” reflecting a stronger connection between artists, audiences, and creative communities.

Our Approach

An important part of Weart’s identity is keeping the artist connected to the artwork. Designs are not treated simply as anonymous graphics. The creative work comes from an individual artist, and the story behind that work is part of what gives the product meaning.

During its early development, Weart also included financial participation for featured artists. Artists received a percentage of the profit connected to products carrying their work, creating a model that combined visibility with direct economic participation.

Weart’s early history shows how art, apparel, storytelling, and entrepreneurship can come together in one project while keeping the creator at the center of the experience.

Art Beyond Traditional Spaces

Weart is built around the idea that people can discover art in many different places. A gallery is one environment, but a shirt, poster, or canvas bag can also become a platform for creative expression.

When artwork becomes part of something people wear, carry, or display, it has the opportunity to reach audiences in everyday environments. That creates another path for artists to be seen and another way for people to connect with original creative work. At its core, Weart Apparel is about making that connection possible.
